John Davidson Lusk 
John Davidson was born on March 7th, 1816 in Union District, South Carolina.1 John Davidson's father was John Lusk and his mother was Rachel Tenason. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Lusk and Susannah Davidson; his maternal grandparents were John Tennyson and Elizabeth. He had three brothers and six sisters, named Thomas David Jefferson, Francis Marion, Robert Andrew Jackson, Elizabeth Ann, Sarah Louisa, Martha Lucretia, Susan Jane, Cynthia and Nancy Samantha. In The History of Yalobusha County Mississippi, it states that David and Loucinda settled in Yalobusha County on property purchased from Alexander Tabb and located next to his cousin Robert Lusk and his great aunt Martha Davidson Lusk, near Water Valley. By 1850, they had six children, two being twins.
