Elizabeth Ann was born on May 4th, 1817 in Union District, South Carolina.1 Elizabeth Ann's father was John Lusk and her mother was Rachel Tenason. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Lusk and Susannah Davidson; her maternal grandparents were John Tennyson and Elizabeth. She had four brothers and five sisters, named John Davidson, Thomas David Jefferson, Francis Marion, Robert Andrew Jackson, Sarah Louisa, Martha Lucretia, Susan Jane, Cynthia and Nancy Samantha. She was the second oldest of the ten children.-
