Rachel Tenason 
Rachel was born on February 2nd, 1795 in , , South Carolina.1 Rachel's father was John Tennyson and her mother was Elizabeth. She was an only child. She died at the age of 75 on April 29th, 1870 in , Lafayette, Mississippi.1 
‌Rachel and John were married in a religious ceremony on May 14th, 1814.1 They had four sons and six daughters, named John Davidson, Thomas David Jefferson, Francis Marion, Robert Andrew Jackson, Elizabeth Ann, Sarah Louisa, Martha Lucretia, Susan Jane, Cynthia and Nancy Samantha.
