Catherine Dilley 
Catherine was born on February 15th, 1811 in Greenbriar County, West Virginia.1 Catherine's father was Jr. Dilley John and her mother was Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. Her paternal grandparents were Sr. Dilley John and Catherine Himpin; her maternal grandfather was Christian Ackland aka Eckland. She had five brothers and five sisters, named Joseph A, Barnett, James, Abner, Bird, Hannah, Peninah, Elizabeth, Anna and Diana. She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.
Catherine and Allen were married in a religious ceremony on March 3rd, 1831 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1 They had three sons and a daughter, named Alma, Joseph, Elisha and Emma.
