Abner Dilley 
Abner was born on August 15th, 1814 in Greenbrier County, West Virginia.1 Abner's father was Jr. Dilley John and his mother was Elizabeth Ackland aka Eckland. His paternal grandparents were Sr. Dilley John and Catherine Himpin; his maternal grandfather was Christian Ackland aka Eckland. He had four brothers and six sisters, named Joseph A, Barnett, James, Bird, Hannah, Peninah, Elizabeth, Anna, Catherine and Diana. He was the third youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 89 on August 15th, 1903 in Lawrence County, Ohio. He was buried in Woodland Cemetery, Lawrence Co., Ohio.1 1 General Notes

Abner's obituary states that at the time of his death, he had "a full set of perfectly sound teeth." According to his obit, Abner was quite wealthy. Lived in Oak Ridge. Since Abner was born after his mother's arrest, I am not certain that John Dilley was his father. Charity's obit states there were 7 children in the family of Abner and Armilda.
Abner and Armilda were married in a religious ceremony on December 20th, 1837 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1 They had two sons and five daughters, named Albert R., Abram Newton, Harriet, Amissetta, Charity Ella, Sorilda Jane and Hester Ann.

Amissetta was born on September 15th, 1839 in Aid, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 She died at the age of 80 on February 18th, 1920 in Griffith Cemetery, Lawrence County, Ohio.1
Charity Ella Dilley
Charity Ella was born on November 2nd, 1841 in Aid, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 She died at the age of 85 on April 14th, 1927 in Council Grove, Morris County, KS.1
Sorilda Jane Dilley
Sorilda Jane was born on January 11th, 1844 in Aid, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 She died due to Pleuro Pneumonia at the age of 58 in April 1902 in Buried at Woodland Cemetery, Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.1
Albert R. Dilley
Albert R. was born on August 24th, 1847 in Aid, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 He died in during Civil War.1
Hester Ann Dilley
Hester Ann was born on August 6th, 1851 in Aid Township, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 She died at the age of 64 on February 10th, 1916 in Lawrence County, Ohio.1
Abram Newton Dilley(Alva)
Abram Newton was born on March 31st, 1856 in Aid Township, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 He died at the age of 81 on November 3rd, 1937 in Parkersville Kansas.1
