Albert Newton Allen 
Albert Newton was born on May 20th, 1874 in Ice Creek, Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio.1 Albert Newton's father was John Lee Allen and his mother was Charity Ella Dilley. His paternal grandparents were William H. Allen and Lucretia Alford; his maternal grandparents were Abner Dilley and Armilda Russell. He had three brothers and four sisters, named William Carr, Frank Dilley, Ethan Lee, Harriett Elizabeth, Mildred Jane (Armilda), Martha Louella and Anna Bydrsley. He was the fourth oldest of the eight children. He died at the age of 70 on May 16th, 1945 in Green Wood Cemetery, North of Council Grove, Kansas.1 General Notes
