William Yocum

William was born about 1775.¹ William's father was John Yocum and his mother was Mary (Yocum). His paternal grandparents were Mathias Yoakum and Elinor See. He had five brothers and five sisters, named Robert, Francis M, Jacob Preston, George, John H, Susannah, Eleanor, Mary, Nancy and Sarah. He was the fifth oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1857.¹
