Robert Strother 
Robert was born about 1727 in ,Hannover, Virginia.1 Robert's father was Francis STROTHER and his mother was Susannah Dabney. His paternal grandparents were William Strother and Margaret Thornton; his maternal grandparents were John Dabney and Sarah Jennings. He had five brothers and five sisters, named John Dabney, George, Anthony, William, Francis, Margaret, Mary, Behethland, Elizabeth and Susanna. He was the sixth oldest of the eleven children. He died in 1801.1 -
