Sarah Powell

Sarah was born on December 19th, 1854.¹   Sarah's father was Jacob POWELL and her mother was Sarah Emily Melvin.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Melvin and Nancy Melvin. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named WILLIS Burton, Wilis Burton, Robert Lee, Andrew Jackson, David, Andrew Jackson, Harry, Sarah, Alice, Jennie Linn, Nannie Catherine, Nannie Catherine and Helen.  She was the second oldest of the fourteen children. She had two half-brothers named John T. and George W..  She died at the age of 90 in 1944.¹
