Sarah Emily Melvin

Sarah Emily was born on July 27th, 1827 in Indiana.¹   Sarah Emily's father was Thomas Melvin and her mother was Nancy Melvin.  Her paternal grandparents were James Melvin and Catherine Cannon. She had three brothers and two sisters, named Levi, Simeon, Benjamin, Cathering and Nancy.  She died at the age of 87 on February 3rd, 1915 in Butler, Bates County, Missouri.  She was buried in Fairveiw Cemetery, Bates Co. MO.^2 1
