Helen POWELL

Helen was born in 1874.¹   Helen's father was Jacob POWELL and her mother was Sarah Emily Melvin.  Her maternal grandparents were Thomas Melvin and Nancy Melvin. She had seven brothers and six sisters, named WILLIS Burton, Wilis Burton, Robert Lee, Andrew Jackson, David, Andrew Jackson, Harry, Sarah, Sarah, Alice, Jennie Linn, Nannie Catherine and Nannie Catherine.  She was the third youngest of the fourteen children. She had two half-brothers named John T. and George W..  She died at the age of 83 on March 1st, 1957.¹
