Martha POWELL

Martha was born on January 1st, 1857.¹   Martha's father was Charles POWELL and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Lane.  Her maternal grandparents were John C. Lane and Ann G. MARTIN. She had six brothers and six sisters, named John H., Andrew Jackson, William Joseph, Israel Nordike, Charles, Richard S., Matilda, Matilda, Catherine Ann, Nancy Jane, Martha and Melvina.  She was the seventh oldest of the thirteen children.  She died at the age of 80 on December 15th, 1937.¹
