Charles POWELL

Charles was born on March 30th, 1866 in Pottawattamie Co.¹   Charles' father was Charles POWELL and his mother was Elizabeth Jane Lane.  His maternal grandparents were John C. Lane and Ann G. MARTIN. He had five brothers and seven sisters, named John H., Andrew Jackson, William Joseph, Israel Nordike, Richard S., Matilda, Matilda, Catherine Ann, Nancy Jane, Martha, Martha and Melvina.  He was the second youngest of the thirteen children.  He died at the age of 80 on April 25th, 1946 in Duluth MN.¹
