Anderson Maples

Anderson was born on August 10th, 1835 in McMinn Co., Tennessee.¹ Anderson's father was Jesse Maples and his mother was Jemimah. His paternal grandparents were Josiah Maples and Ruthea Sweeney. He had four brothers and three sisters, named Alexander Preston, Americus Bonaparte, James Gunter, William Atchley, Martha, Rachel and Sarah. He was the youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers named ANDERSON and Andrew Jackson. He died at the age of 65 on December 31st, 1900.¹
