Mary Polly LAYNE 
Mary Polly was born on September 5th, 1776 in ,St James Parish, Goochland, Virginia and her baptism took place there on October 13th, 1776.1 Mary Polly's father was Ayres LAYNE and her mother was Mary WOODSON. Her maternal grandparents were Robert III WOODSON and Rebecca PRYOR. She had eight brothers and two sisters, named Robert, Frederick, Tarlton, John, Woodson, Lewis, Benjamin Woodson, George, Sally and Elizabeth (Betty) (Betsy). She was the third youngest of the eleven children. She died at the age of 71 on May 23rd, 1848.1 -
