George LAYNE 
George was born in 1782 in Goochland Co., VA.1 George's father was Ayres LAYNE and his mother was Mary WOODSON. His maternal grandparents were Robert III WOODSON and Rebecca PRYOR. He had seven brothers and three sisters, named Robert, Frederick, Tarlton, John, Woodson, Lewis, Benjamin Woodson, Sally, Elizabeth (Betty) (Betsy) and Mary Polly. He was the youngest of the eleven children. He died at the age of 81 in 1863.1 -
