Eleanor Giffard 
Eleanor was born in 1267 in of Brimsfield, Gloucestershire.1 Eleanor's father was John Giffard and her mother was Maud de Clifford. Her paternal grandparents were Elias IV Giffard and Alice Maltravers; her maternal grandparents were Walter III de Clifford and Marared Drwyndon verch Llywelyn Fawr. She had two sisters named Katherine and Maud. She was the oldest of the three children.1 General Notes
