John Gholson 
John was born about 1749.1 John's father was Anthony Gholson and his mother was Mary Sandridge. His paternal grandparents were Anthony GHOLSON SR. and Jane Hawkins; his maternal grandparents were William SANDRIDGE and Ann PULLIAM PULLAM. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, William, Frederick, John, Joseph, Dabney, William, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth, Eunice and Susannah. He was the seventh oldest of the fourteen children. He died in Wilkes, Ga..1 -
