William GHOLSEN 
William was born in 1758 in Spotsylvania Co., Va..1 William's father was Anthony Gholson and his mother was Mary Sandridge. His paternal grandparents were Anthony GHOLSON SR. and Jane Hawkins; his maternal grandparents were William SANDRIDGE and Ann PULLIAM PULLAM. He had seven brothers and six sisters, named Anthony, William, Frederick, John, John, Joseph, Dabney, Sarah, Ann, Mary, Elizabeth, Eunice and Susannah. He was the second youngest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 79 on January 2nd, 1837.1 -
