Thomas Jackson was born on May 2nd, 1818 in ,Mercer, Kentucky, USA.1 Thomas Jackson's father was Tarlton Lee CRANE and his mother was Mary Elizabeth "Polly" BEEDLE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CRAINE and Theodocia Ann LEE. He had fifteen brothers and three sisters, named George Miller, Zachary Taylor, Robert, William C, King, James, John, Richard H, Calvin, Joel, Silas Harland, Charles B, Carey Carrie Allen, Nelson Lee "Little Doc", Joseph Lafon, Elizabeth L, Mitilda Porter and Theodosia. He was the fourth oldest of the nineteen children. He died at the age of 69 on January 9th, 1888 in Cloverdale, Sonoma, California, USA.1 -
