Richard H was born on July 23rd, 1829 in Perryville, Mercer, Kentucky.1 Richard H's father was Tarlton Lee CRANE and his mother was Mary Elizabeth "Polly" BEEDLE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CRAINE and Theodocia Ann LEE. He had fifteen brothers and three sisters, named George Miller, Thomas Jackson, Zachary Taylor, Robert, William C, King, James, John, Calvin, Joel, Silas Harland, Charles B, Carey Carrie Allen, Nelson Lee "Little Doc", Joseph Lafon, Elizabeth L, Mitilda Porter and Theodosia. He was the eighth youngest of the nineteen children. He died at the age of 85 on April 14th, 1915 in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, California. He was buried on April 16th, 1915 in Santa Rosa, Sonoma, Ca.1 1 -
