Joseph Lafon CRANE 
Joseph Lafon was born on October 16th, 1843 in Philadelphi, Marion, Mo.1 Joseph Lafon's father was Tarlton Lee CRANE and his mother was Mary Elizabeth "Polly" BEEDLE. His paternal grandparents were Thomas CRAINE and Theodocia Ann LEE. He had fifteen brothers and three sisters, named George Miller, Thomas Jackson, Zachary Taylor, Robert, William C, King, James, John, Richard H, Calvin, Joel, Silas Harland, Charles B, Carey Carrie Allen, Nelson Lee "Little Doc", Elizabeth L, Mitilda Porter and Theodosia. He was the youngest of the nineteen children. He died at the age of 22 on April 28th, 1866 in Philadelphi, Marion, Mo. He was buried on June 30th, 1866 in Terrillpowell Cementary Philadelphia, Marion, Missouri, USA.1 1 -
