Sarah Hawood Aday 
Sarah Hawood was born on April 20th, 1871.1 Sarah Hawood's father was William Ballard Davenport Aday and her mother was Amanda Jane Walters. Her paternal grandparents were Boaz Aday and Martha Patsy WILLIAMS. She had five brothers and two sisters, named John, William RILEY, James Isaac, MARTIN Wesley, Alfred Lester, Mary Anna and Martha Alice. She was the fourth youngest of the eight children. She had a half-brother and a half-sister, named Ira Dennis and Dollie Mae Leona. She died at the age of 117 on March 7th, 1989 in Sands Springs OK.2 General Notes

Mrs. Rhoden reports: Amanda Jane Walters had a brother
named John. Mrs. states that a letter in the WGH Aday
pension file asks for info on John Walters, brother of my
mother. signed Sadie Scully. Sadie is Saha Hawood Aday
living with her father on census Stone Co. 1900. She had
children James Green Swafford (1890-1944), burried close to
WGH Aday in High Cemtery, Harvey Swafford (1893). I have a
pension file for William G. H. Aday but not this letter.
Edgar Hulse said that WGH Aday was called Billy, and that
sometimes was a barber.
Clariborne and Sarah were divorced in 1900. She then
married a Schully. She lived in Berryville AR in 1914.
Later lived in Tulsa. Her husband Schully was a yard
maintenance man. He took care of a large home and they
lived in a nice little house in the back. Walsie and Leon
Aday visited her when she lived in Tulsa.[576008.ftw]
