Rivers, Catherine, and Martha Williams are all direct line
ancestors of George Aday if Mr. Roden is correct. Her
information is based on personal interview with Edgar Hulse
b. 1899, grandson of Martha and Edna Hulse Jones, sister to
Edgar. Mr. Hulse said there was another unmarried daughter
that came to Carroll Co. named Heywood. I have found no
record of her.
William Williams and Green Williams are on Carroll Co. Tn
census in 1830. I found land records there for William and
Rivers Williams. They came to Carroll Co. Tn from
Montgomery Co. NC according to other researchers. Many
families associated with the Williams family came from
Montgomery Co. NC to Carroll Co. TN and on to Carroll Co.
AR and the bordering county of Stone Co. MO. Two families
by the last name of Harwood live close to William Williams
in TN.
There are likely other children of this family that are not
identified.
