Mrs. King Hale remembered John Aday going around to parties
playing his fiddle. She said he moved back and forth
between Arkansas and Oklahoma.
Edgar Hulse said he visited John Aday on the day he died.
John had written him that he wated Edgar to come to see
him. John was living with his daughter, Vinnie in the
Eureka Springs area. John knew he was dying and wanted
Edgar to pray for him. John's legs were swelling and he
could not lie down. Edgar called it dropsey. Edgar was
apreacher and a depty Sheriff form Stone Co. Mo. Some men
wer sitting on the proch talking amd makin moonshine. Mr.
Hulse started for home the next morning. He recieved word
John Aday had died about 10 o'clock that day. Edhar Hulse
said John Aday was buried in the Rockhouse Cemetery. I
asked if John Aday was a moonshiner and Edgar said no.
