Sophia Slaymaker

Sophia was born in 1779 in Lancaster Co., PA.  Sophia's father was Henry Slaymaker and her mother was Faithful Richardson.  Her paternal grandparents were Mathias Schleiermacher and Catharine Schiebel. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Amos, Henry, Samuel, Mary, Hannah, Faithful, Lydia and Sarah.  She was the youngest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 77 in 1856.
