George McIlvaine Slaymaker 
George McIlvaine was born on March 22nd, 1799 in Williamstown, Dauphine Co., PA. George McIlvaine's father was John, Jr. Slaymaker and his mother was Jeannett McIlvaine. His paternal grandparents were John Slaymaker and Elizabeth White. He had five brothers and six sisters, named John Linn, James Hamilton, Robert McIlvaine, William Alexander, Samuel Humes, Elizabeth Ann, Mary, Sarah Jane, Mary Ann, Margaret Catherine and Lavinia. He was the oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on July 17th, 1881.General Notes
