Margaret Catherine was born in 1850 in Pennsylvania. Margaret Catherine's father was Benjamin Stout Quick and her mother was Mary Ann Slaymaker. Her paternal grandparents were Benjamin Quick and Elizabeth Pearsen; her maternal grandparents were John, Jr. Slaymaker and Jeannett McIlvaine. She had two brothers and a sister, named George D., Benjamine Howell and Jane E.. She was the second oldest of the four children. She died at the age of 48 in 1898.General Notes
