Peter Steer

Peter was born before 1797 and his baptism took place on December 29th, 1797 in Modbury Devon conducted by Curate Edward Vaughan.¹

Peter's father was Francis Grills Sture and his mother was Mary Ann Morgan.  His paternal grandparents were George Sture and Agnes Grills. He had four brothers and five sisters, named George, Francis, Robert, William, Biddy, Agnes, Mary, Elizabeth and Nancy.  He was the fifth youngest of the ten children.
