James Steer 
James was born about 1835 in Bigbury Devon.1 James' father was William Steer and his mother was Elizabeth Ash. His paternal grandparents were George Steer and Ann Haynes. He had six sisters named Elizabeth, Margaret, Maria, Sarah, Mary and Caroline. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He died in 1875 in Plymouth.1 -
