George Thomas Steer

George was born about 1877 and his baptism took place on April 1st, 1877.¹

Birth Notes

George's father was William Steer and his mother was Caroline Willcox. His paternal grandparents were William Steer and Janet Hamlin. He had two brothers and seven sisters, named Jasper, John, Rosetta, Ada, Lily, Violet, Caroline, Daisy and Clara. He was the second oldest of the ten children. He died as a war casualty, died 18th July 1918 on a minesweeper in the first World War, on July 18th, 1918.¹
