Annie's baptism took place on May 23rd, 1873 in Midhurst Sussex.1  Annie's father was Mark Steer and her mother was Eliza Harwood.  Her paternal grandparents were James Steer and Rebecca Miram. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Frank, Harry, Frederick, William, Stephen, Alfred, Jane and Kate.
