Ann Steer 
Ann was born before 1809. Ann's father was Edmund Sture and her mother was Sarah Grills (of Charleton). Her paternal grandparents were Philip Sture and Mary Whiteway (of Harberton ). She had three brothers and five sisters, named Philip, Edmund, John, Mary, Sarah, Mary, Elizabeth and Alice. She was the fourth youngest of the nine children.General Notes
could she be the Ann Steer who married John Parnell on 31st March 1836 at Diptford and settled at Norton, East Allington, where they are recorded in 1841 census, plus two children, John Parnell aged 3 years and Albert Parnell aged 1 year ? It is said that they had 6 children while living there. In 1850, the family emigrated to the USA and settled in Churchville, Monroe County, NY. John Parnell senior died there on 8th October 1898 in Churchville NY.
