Mary Stear

Mary was born before 1750 and her baptism took place on February 18th, 1750 in West Alvington.¹   Mary's father was Thomas Sture and her mother was Mary Luckham.  Her paternal grandparents were William Sture and Agnes Cranch. She had six brothers and a sister, named William, George, Thomas, John, Jasper, Richard and Ann.  She was the third oldest of the eight children.
