Isabella was born about 1868 in Farnborough Kent.1   Isabella's father was George STEERS and her mother was Eliza STEERS. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Albert, Emma, Eliza and Ada.  She was the oldest of the seven children.
