Albert was born about 1878 in Farnborough Kent.1   Albert's father was George STEERS and his mother was Eliza STEERS. He had two brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, Charles, Isabella, Emma, Eliza and Ada.  He was the second youngest of the seven children.
