Eliza was born about 1877 in Bromley Kent.1   Eliza's father was George STEERS and her mother was Eliza STEERS. She had three brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Albert, Edward, Isabella, Emma, Ada, Emma and Maud.  She was the fourth oldest of the nine children.
