Elizabeth STEER 
Elizabeth was born in 1695 in Westerham, Kent..1 Elizabeth's father was John STEER and her mother was Elizabeth YOUNG. Her paternal grandparents were John STEER and Not known. She had six brothers and five sisters, named John, Henry, William, Thomas, William, Thomas, Mary, Martha, Ann, Sarah and Susannah. She was the oldest of the twelve children. She died at the age of 72 in 1767 in Westerham, Kent..2 General Notes
Parish Register of St Mary, Westerham: Baptism 7 January 1694/95Elizabeth, Father John STEER.Beneficiary of her Grandfathers Will made 1704 and proved in1708.Beneficiary of her Mother's Will made 1739 proved 1742. Acted asan Attorney on behalf of her brother Henry who was the Executorbut living in Lisbon.Elizabeth Steers of Westerham Kent spinster wrote her will on 11August 1761, proved 17 December 1767. To her two brothers Henry& William Steers she left £5 each; to her sister Mary Steers sheleft £10 and the 'ffine pair of flaxen sheets that she now has';to her sister Puxty £5 and her nephew Alexander Puxty £20; tothe poor of Westerham parish 25 shillings; to her other twosisters Ann Steers and Sarah Steers all her wearing apparel andall other things including her money at interest. After thedecease of both sisters the money to be shared among the 'dearchildren' the nephews & nieces of brothers Henry & William. Thewill was proved by her three executors, brother William Steersand sisters Ann & Sarah Steers.
