Thamas Tamar was born about 1899 in Staffordshire West Bromwich.1   Thamas Tamar's father was Benjamin Tamar STEAR and his mother was Harriet Jane STEAR. He had four brothers and three sisters, named George Charles, Leslie Robert, Albert Clarence, Lionel, Alice Maude, Olave Margeret and Edna Charlotte.  He was the oldest of the eight children.
