William Henry Hornby
William was born in 1856 in
Claughton, Bidston, Cheshire and his baptism took place on November 11th, 1856.

William Henry Hornby Steer was admitted pensioner at St John’s College, Cambridge, 7th October 1875. He attended Hereford Cathedral School (Mr Rudd).
