Philip Steer

Philip was born about 1810 in Ashprington Devon.¹ Philip's father was Philip Steer and his mother was Mary Ann Cutmore. His paternal grandparents were Philip Sture and Mary Paige (of Harleston). He had two brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, William, Mary, Betsy and Caroline. He was the oldest of the six children. He died in 1871.¹
