John Brokenshire 
John was born about 1879 in Brixham Devon. John's father was William Saunders Brokenshire and his mother was Catherine Philip Putt. His paternal grandparents were William Sanders Brokenshire and Alice Ann Tuckett. He had four brothers and two sisters, named Harry, Ernest, Sanders, Harry Putt, Olive and Alice. He was the fourth oldest of the seven children.
