Thomas was born on September 24th, 1730.1   Thomas' father was John Goad and his mother was Elizabeth Walker.  His paternal grandparents were Joseph Goad and Hannah Atkinson. He had a brother and four sisters, named Joseph, Sarah, Hannah, Elizabeth and Elizabeth.  He was the third oldest of the six children.  He died at the age of 7 on November 21st, 1737.1
