Elizabeth was born on July 2nd, 1738.1   Elizabeth's father was John Goad and her mother was Elizabeth Walker.  Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Goad and Hannah Atkinson. She had two brothers and three sisters, named Joseph, Thomas, Sarah, Hannah and Elizabeth.  She was the youngest of the six children.
