Mary Ann Steer

Mary was born in 1851 and her baptism took place on June 15th, 1851 in Petworth, Sussex.¹   Mary's father was Thomas Steer and her mother was Charlotte Miller.  Her paternal grandparents were William Steer and Anne Merriott; her maternal grandfather is <Unknown> and her maternal grandmother was Rhoda Berry. She had four brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Charles, William, Alfred and Jane.  She was the second youngest of the six children.
