Jane's father was John Osborne and her mother was Jane Ide.  Her maternal grandparents were John Ide and Mary Pratt. She had a brother and a sister, named John and Mary.  She was the youngest of the three children.  She died at the age of 41 in 1788.  The funeral took place on May 27th, 1788 in Petworth.  She was buried on May 27th, 1788 in Petworth St Mary.^1 2
