James Steer

James was born in 1821 and his baptism took place on March 14th, 1821 in Petworth, Sussex.¹   James' father was William Steer and his mother was Anne Merriott.  His paternal grandparents were Thomas Steer and Jane Osborn. He had three brothers and a sister, named William, George, Thomas and Jane.  He was the youngest of the five children.  He died in September 1821 in Petworth, Sussex.  He was buried on September 5th, 1821 in Petworth, Sussex.^2 2
