Helen (Nellie) Curnock 
Helen, known as Nellie, was born on March 21st, 1854 in 60 Aston Road, Birmingham and her baptism took place in Newton Row, Birmingham conducted by Rev A Barrett. Nellie's father was George Curnock and her mother was Mary Strickland. Her paternal grandparents were Dennis Curnock and Ann Edgley Hopkins; her maternal grandparents were Samuel Stickland (East Budleigh) and Sarah Mardon. She had three brothers and three sisters, named Stanley, George, Wesley, Annie, Minnie and Trot. She was the fourth oldest of the seven children.General Notes
