Caroline was born in 1822 and her baptism took place on March 4th, 1822.1  Caroline's father was Job Beaven and her mother was Jane Long.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Mitchell and Betty dJoshua Beaven.  Jane d.Joshua Beaven was her grandmother through her father's adoption. She had two brothers named Alfred and George.  She was the oldest of the three children. She had five half-brothers and three half-sisters, named Thomas, Nathaniel, Job, Mark, Luke, Hannah, Jane and Eliza.  She died at the age of 65 on December 10th, 1887 in Semington Union Workhouse.  She was buried on December 15th, 1887 in The Down Cemetery trowbridge.
