George was born on September 22nd, 1891. George's father was Daniel Hext ROWLANDS and his mother was Ada TOUZEAU.  His maternal grandparents were William TOUZEAU and Mary Ann Eliza WALDEN. He had five brothers and three sisters, named John Henry, Daniel Hext, William, Charles, Edward Walden, May Mary, Rosalie and Ada.  He was the fourth youngest of the nine children.  He died in France WW1.
